Awesome family

Today Paul was promoted to Engineer! I took a few quick shot after the brief ceremony. I work with his lovely wife, Stephanie, at the newspaper. I have shot their sons before during the last baseball season. They are just good, down to earth people! You guys rock!

Bubbles and Superman

Maddie has been wearing the same shirt for 5 days now. She has bathed in that time but immediately wants the shirt back on. When I was working on my makeshift studio she found some garments both kids out grew many moons ago. Well one was a well worn Superman shirt that belonged to Chase. She also found some leggings I bought for baby shoots that are awesome. Now if only I can get those back. :) She's not exactly fashion forward, but made there are a couple of other toddlers out there that share her little kid style. Still it makes for great photos.
I bought the kids some bubble wands at Wal*Mart the other day. I am going back tomorrow to get some more for my cousins kids. I have had fun with them too.

THE Pumpkin

Okay. I admit it that when it comes to taking down decorations from the holidays it may take me a week or two. Hey! I am a busy woman. (I really just like them). But this pumpkin that my son brought home from a field trip is insane. It is the pumpkin that wouldn't rot. Seriously. The orange specimen came home Nov. 1st and is still on out porch. Should I call Ripley's?

Maddie Surgery

Maddie had tubes put in Monday as well as having her adnoids removed. It is amazing to me how fast a little person recovers. For the past year she has been accumulating gunk in her head. And just hours after the procedure by her "favoritist" doctor (on account she gets a balloon and stickers when she goes), she's out trying to be a skate boarding mama. Kids! Simply amazing.

Angelina

My friend Angelina is due anytime now. I am glad I caught up to her before baby and can't wait to meet baby. She is keeping the sex of the baby a surprise. I think it's a girl!

March Maddie

While Chase was @ karate, Maddie had a mini session with mommy. I am sure you all have noticed, she now has bangs. Isn't she sweet?!
