This past weekend we needed to get out of the house. With everyone being sick, we had classic signs of cabin fever. So we hit the Micke Grove Zoo. What a bargain. For a family of 4, $5 to park and $6 for entry. It seemed the animals were happy the sun was out too.
I don't know why, but lately I have been drawn to water fountains.
Mr. Micke for which the park is named.
Maddie was pretty interested in the monkey exhibits...
... Although this little guy kept yawning at us.
Chase has a bigger wing span than a barn owl... good to know.
