Apple Hill

Chase really wanted to go up to Apple Hill this weekend. After a late start we made it to one of the farms. We are going to go back and try to hit more. There are a variety of things to do. For the kids, Abel Apple’s Acre’s offers hay mazes, pony rides and a pumpkin patch. For the adults, there are pies and a country fair type feel as merchants sell their wares.

Kids Inc. has some of the same but also an added bonus of a nature trail.

High Hill Ranch has a fishing pond and picnic area. They have barbecue food, yummy. There are a variety of u-pick farms.

Larsen Apple barn has a historic Pioneer farm museum with loads of cool stuff from the past.

Don’t forget to start you day at Rainbow Orchards. The cider is made daily and they are famous for their apple cider doughnuts.

Along the way for the more mature crowd, there are wineries also in the area and a fun brewery called the Jack Russell Brewery specializing in English brews.
