Maddie's July

With it being summer, Maddie has been really active including her new found love - guitar and singing. She sings about everything. Her brother went to spend the night at a friends house and she sang a sad song about how she missed her brother and how she would see him the next day. And she continues to paint - even on herself... :) And she started t-ball this past Saturday. So here is an ode to Summertime Maddie...

Bella and Lily had a dance recital recently that I was called over to get a few shots before they left. And we couldn't forget sweet Gigi. :)

O the weather....

It has been a weird summer in the Central Valley for sure. The sky has been grey until yesterday. The sun has only been a mirage. Hopefully these winds will wipe the smoke from the area fires away.

Happy "belated" 4th of July!

For the Independence Day holiday, we ventured down to Ripon where my sister lives. Hubby had to work. We bbq'd some turkey burgers (which I forgot to bring buns for), ate a little fruit salad, and my sister tried her hand at making ice cream. (We didn't get any until Saturday night). The kids got to play at the parks water feature-do-hicky and there was fun had by all. Te evening ended with a fireworks show on the back lawn.

Country Boy

An evening in the Lake.

We met Austin and Preston met at the Lake Saturday evening. We actually pushed back the time because of the heat and it was a good idea. The evening was perfect. The boys needed no coaching from me. They just had the look. The photos kinda take me back to a simpler, less rushed time.

Just Married!

They finally got hitched! Katie and Ryan got married yesterday in Ripon amongst friends and family. Congrats sis and brother-in-law. Katie looked beautiful and Ryan looked awesome.
Now I am going to BED!

Squirrels in the Park

During the field trip to Sacramento's Zoo and Fairy Tale Towne, we ate lunch at the park. I was fascinated by a man feeding the local residents of the park.
