Angelina

My friend Angelina is due anytime now. I am glad I caught up to her before baby and can't wait to meet baby. She is keeping the sex of the baby a surprise. I think it's a girl!

While Chase was @ karate, Maddie had a mini session with mommy. I am sure you all have noticed, she now has bangs. Isn't she sweet?!

How do you like your burger...

When making dinner, Maddie volunteered to make her own turkey burger. You go girl!

website

This week I am going to be doing some rearranging on the website. I'll let you know when it is done, but I am going to re-categorize and post some new work, etc. It's Spring Cleaning time!

They are engaged!

My sister and boyfriend, Ryan, were engaged the first of this month. It sounds like a lovely proposal that took place in Yosemite along a bike trail, creek and waterfall. The are to be married on May 31st. Congrats you two.

Support Kome and Breast Cancer Research

My friend is going to do the 3-day walk. She had surgery again to see if there was any cancer left in the tissue. Thank heavens there is not but she still has to go through the radiation therapy.
If you would like to help the cause and find a cure, click and donate:

The event takes place September 5-7, 2008 and will be a 60-mile Bay Area journey.

Olives anyone?

Every just keep noticing something and you just can't seem to keep looking at it. I was at my sister's yesterday night, and this jar of olives just kept staring at me. Is that good marketing or what!?

Dress Up

Maddie found a pair of my shoes the other day and grabbed her "sheep blanket" and just thought she was the cat's meow!

Sleeping Beauty

This morning... sleeping beauty...

Watch out Jackie Greene

Maddie found a harmonica in our music basket. And she hasn't put it down. After her bath last night she gave mom a concert. Maybe she'll be the next big blues woman.

Time in the backyard...

Sometimes you just need to grab the camera and go running from inside the house. That was me yesterday. All the sudden I felt closterphobic. I went outside and the birds were singing, the breeze was blowing and the flowers were blooming.

Going to the Dogs...

Freckles

Lucy

I love dogs just about as much as I love photographing kids. They have a personality all their own. Unfortunately my two have been trouble makers of late. We had some high winds last month that knocked our fence down. Both dogs got out and only one came home immediately. Freckles was found be a family several streets over, stayed the night and was taken to the she taken to the local animal shelter. I had been there earlier to see if they had brought her in. 17 dogs were picked over night but none were Freckles. Then I got the call. YEAH!
But since then, they have still managed to dig or find other ways to get out. FRUSTRATING!
But they are family, and what can you do but gather the troops and search them out.

BLOG FEST!

Reader be warned... I am behind in my bloggin'! I know. FOR SHAME!
But I am determined to get a bunch done today.

The first of which is this:

My sister asked me to create a gift certificate and donate a session for one of her work engagements! So in about 30 minutes I came up with this. I love scrapbooking... don't you...

Speaking of my sister, Katie and Ryan are officially engaged! Congratulations. and guess who will be shooting it... You guessed it! :P
